You can request deletion of your beforeUBuy account and all associated personal data at any time, whether or not you still have the app installed. This page explains exactly how, and what happens to your data when you do.

We process deletion requests within 30 days. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

| Active Pro subscription | Cancelled — billing stops, no further charges |
| Shared product/issue knowledge you contributed to | Retained, but fully disconnected from your identity (see note below) |
| Transaction records | Retained only where required by law for accounting purposes |
About shared product knowledge: When beforeUBuy researches issues for a product you scanned that wasn't yet in our database, that issue information (e.g. "this model is known for X") becomes part of a shared knowledge base that helps other users who scan the same product later. This information was never linked to your name or account in a way visible to others, and deleting your account doesn't remove it — since it isn't personal to you and continues to help the wider beforeUBuy community.
